I’m Kortnie (Almost Floyd) and I’m a twenty-five year old self proclaimed hot mess. I live in Lexington, North Carolina and enjoy every second of it. I am a teacher, a coach, and a puppy mom. My four fur children are; Potter (two year old Dalmatian), Chance (three year old DalXLab), Luna (four year old Husky mix), and Salem (one year old tuxedo cat). I am a total crazy dog lady and treat my animals like they are my children. I’m engaged to the amazing Justin who is my best friend in this life. We are getting married on October 20th, 2018 and I can not wait!

I am in my second year of teaching and work with severe and profound exceptional children. It can be taxing some days but is very rewarding in the long run. I also coach volleyball and play in many indoor/outdoor tournaments and leagues.

I’m honestly into a bit of everything. I read, cook, craft, sew, workout, and basically just look at life like it is one big adventure. Sometimes I struggle and sometimes I fail but that is okay. The purpose of this blog is to document my adventures and hope that they can help someone else as well.
