Mid-Morning Update
So it is 10:40 in the morning and I’ve stuck with my broth fast. Y’all, this is a huge accomplishment because it is teacher appreciation week and there are bagels and sweets EVERYWHERE! It is is hard to say no, but I have survived.
I started my morning with about 3/4 of a coffee cup of broth and nibbled on a celery stick on the way to work. Just finished a 1/2 a coffee cup of broth and another celery stick and so far so good. I’ve also had about 48oz of water and that is really helping to keep me full. I’m not starving, I’m not running low on energy, and I’m not cramping up. As of right now I am still hopeful that this is going to go well.
Lunch Update
Still on track at lunch time! Currently munching on my 1/2 of a chicken breast and honestly, I’m not all that hungry. About 10 minutes ago I started getting hungry, but was fine when I started on my broth. Hopefully the afternoon will go well too. Typically I want to eat everything in sight around 4-5 so we will see how it goes!
